I knew from the moment Geralyn asked if she could help me that she was a genius when it came to design.   I brought her a swatch and instantly she brought together my whole kitchen.  She was the fairy godmother to my Cinderella kitchen quite literally.  

I don’t live particularly close to the tile shop where she helped me so she drove my order out to me, she arrived and we sat by the outdoor firepit. and had a lovely chat.  The stone that I ordered seemed to be exceptionally brittle so a new lot was ordered and the second order was perfect.  She has an eye like no one else and by no means should any other designer be considered once you meet with her.

I can’t say enough phenomenal things about the quality of Designs by Geralyn. Geralyn has a natural gift of listening to clients and trying to put together design ideas that will exceed expectations. I have worked with her on projects at several price points over 8 years and I still keep coming back! As someone who can be difficult to please, I can’t recommend Geralyn enough. You won’t be disappointed.

Geralyn is a gem. I hired her to help me with decorating a beach house and wish I had known her from the beginning of the build. She asked questions about style and budget, then tailored the project to my wishes while making suggestions to elevate the design and keep within the budget. Once she has understood your desires, she can envision the space with originality aligning with your individuality. Her expertise regarding the mundane yet critical aspects of a design, such as placement of recessed lighting, where to place outlets, and plumbing was a godsend (she didn’t let the contractors get away with anything!). Geralyn’s many talents shone with her eye for every aspect of design including tile, color, fabric, scale/functionality/style/comfort of furniture, lighting, and, choice and placement of accessories. Her creativity is boundless. She took furniture and art pieces that I already owned and incorporated them into the new house with seamless ingenuity. She has a wealth of resources to draw upon and her many years of experience enables her to execute the design with ease. Geralyn is innovative and imaginative. You will never get a cookie-cutter design from Geralyn. Most of all, she is an absolute pleasure to work with. I am not overstating when I say she is an exceptionally gifted designer with an exceptionally big heart.
